Our mission

I believe lasting change lives beneath behavior — in beliefs, identity, and the stories we've never questioned — so I help adults rewire the patterns that have quietly held them back.

I teach because I believe most personal-development advice skips the most important step: understanding what's actually going on beneath the surface. Scripts for attraction, productivity hacks, money tips — they can all work temporarily, but they rarely stick. What sticks is real insight into the beliefs, emotions, and identity patterns quietly running the show.

I came to this work by a long detour. I was born in Belgium to a German mother and a Luxembourgish father, studied chemistry before switching to philosophy, literature and communication, and spent my early career as a journalist — in Tokyo, in Brussels, at AFP, then managing publishing projects for the European Commission across Europe. In 1995 I left institutions behind for entrepreneurship, and in 2003 my family and I sold everything and moved to Canada, where I've now lived for twenty-three years. Decades of crossing cultures taught me something no textbook did: the same words land completely differently depending on the map someone is carrying in their head. That observation is the foundation of everything I teach.

In 2010 I founded Coaching Québec, which has since grown into a network training people in Canada, Morocco, Europe, Japan, and online across the French-speaking world — close to 10,000 people so far. I'm a certified NLP Master Trainer and professional coach, trained in applied neuroscience, classical and Ericksonian hypnosis, Limbic Coaching, and the Enneagram, and I've written four books published by Éditions de l'Homme. I still run NLP workshops in person on four different terrains — Canada, Europe, Morocco, and Japan — and each one keeps me honest. A technique that works beautifully in a room in Montreal has to earn its place again in Casablanca or Kyoto.

Japan, in particular, has shaped how I think about change. I walked the old Tōkaidō road for my fiftieth birthday — 750 kilometres in a month, on foot, one step at a time. Slow, unglamorous, and far more transformative than any weekend breakthrough seminar. Alongside my interest in Zen philosophy, that walk taught me the thing I keep coming back to in my teaching: real change is a matter of consistent direction, not intensity.

My courses sit at the intersection of psychology, NLP, and evidence-based coaching. That means I'll always tell you what the research actually says — including when the evidence is mixed or limited. I use NLP not as magic, but as a practical set of tools for shifting thought patterns, building rapport, and creating genuine emotional change. Every technique I teach, I use in my own coaching practice.

The range of schools I've built — from the psychology of attraction to money beliefs, from NLP fundamentals to creative identity — reflects one consistent thread: most of the blocks people face aren't about missing information. They're about limiting beliefs, unexamined identity, and habits of mind that formed long before you had any say in the matter. That's what we work on together.

If you're looking for quick fixes or flattering promises, my courses probably aren't for you. If you want to understand yourself more clearly and build something that actually lasts, I'd love to have you in the room.

Our ethos

  1. Evidence over enthusiasm — every technique is presented with honesty about what the research actually supports, because trust is more valuable than a good sales pitch.
  2. Change at the level of identity, not just behavior — surface habits rarely last unless the beliefs and self-concept underneath are also addressed.
  3. Ethics are non-negotiable — understanding how influence works comes with the responsibility to use it in ways that respect other people's autonomy and dignity.
